Following a significant new round of investment, Snowplow was looking to accelerate its understanding and momentum in the market by clarifying its key target audience, market positioning and key points of difference.


We developed a new brand positioning and narrative, built on customer insights, with a clear hierarchy of information and messaging. Through this we identified our core brand positioning – helping Data Teams to accelerate the data journey of their organisations.


Hook Strategy ran a series of stakeholder interviews, both internal and external, and used these and market scanning as the foundations for a series of concept workshops that got Snowplow from the start to the finish line within one month.

Matthew joined us over the winter 2019/20 to architect a clear and compelling new brand positioning for Snowplow, in support of our rapid expansion and growing presence-in-market. Matthew worked hard to understand our market and buyer, the wider cloud data landscape and crucially our team’s hopes and ambitions for Snowplow. Matthew did a stellar job – he created a clear brand positioning narrative that clearly articulates Snowplow’s market, our role and our value contribution, plus a messaging framework to bring the whole brand story together in a coherent way for diverse audiences.
