The Ozone Project is a digital collaboration between the UK’s largest quality news journalism businesses.

Ozone needed to create the external focus and internal alignment to drive reputation, and rapid growth.


We defined a clearly expressed brand proposition that was used to engage clients, and also as a platform to describe values and behaviours internally.

Alongside that, we built a clear growth strategy, backed by clear OKRs, a refreshed PR & Marketing plan, and an enhanced product innovation strategy.


Hook Strategy acted in a semi-embedded role with the team, leading a series of vision-setting workshops and providing active support and leadership around business strategy development.


The Ozone Project has continually grown at an exponential speed in an extremely challenged advertising market.

The business was recognised as Media Brand of the year at both the Mediaweek and Association of Publishers awards.
